Diamond Head (Le’Ahi) is one of the most prominent fixtures and landmarks on Oahu. This a great scenic riding route, even if not doing the hike. This route is great for scenic ocean views, residential riding, and first-time and repeat visitors to Oahu. Stay hydrated and bring extra water as this hike can get hot in the summer months.
Recommended Bikes: All E-bikes are ok for Diamond Head. If you want some exercise, this is a popular route for road bikes also.
Where to Park:
Bike parking is available in the back of the parking lot on the raised concrete platform. You can also lock the bike up to one of the signposts in the parking lot.
One of our favorite hikes, the Manoa Falls trek is a well-traveled hike that leads to the Manoa Falls. The trail can get a bit muddy in the rainy months, but it is relatively dry in the summer. It gets a bit humid, so bug spray is recommended, and hydrate properly!
What to bring:
Comfortable sneakers, water, hat, bug spray.
